This acrylic still life illustrates without showing it one of the daily rituals of men who take care of their beards. Combs, oil, scented balm and brush are among the main accessories to give the beard a healthy look and texture that is pleasant to the touch. This angular and dynamic composition does not reveal everything and involves the viewer in the scene. The light is painted differently depending on the nature of the material of the objects it strikes. Few superfluous details here, I decided to focus on my perception of the interior atmosphere that can be found in a bathroom. Vials and accessories are simplified to contribute to the overall picture; backgrounds and supports vibrate with an impressionist touch.

Cette nature morte à l'acrylique illustre sans le montrer l'un des rituels quotidiens des hommes qui prennent soin de leur barbe. Peignes, huile, baume parfumés et brosse sont parmi les principaux accessoires pour donner à la barbe un aspect et une texture sains et agréables au toucher. Cette composition angulaire et dynamique ne révèle pas tout et implique le spectateur dans la scène. La lumière est peinte différemment selon la nature du matériaux des objets qu'elle frappe. Peu de détails superflus ici, j'ai décidé de mettre l'accent sur ma perception de l'atmosphère intérieure que l'on peut retrouver dans une salle de bain. Les fioles et accessoires sont simplifiés pour contribuer à l'ensemble de l'image ; fonds et supports vibrent d'une touche impressionniste.
