Bread's best friend (gouache on 14 x 19 x 0,2 cm cardboard) - Standard shipment

Sometimes inspiration comes on its own and strikes at a time when you least expect it. Here, bread's best friend, this little slab of butter, caught my attention when I discovered a promising first draft. In this composition I reinforced the angles of the packaging, which gives a quasi-geometric and abstract effect to the whole. The smooth yellow butter hints like an unfinished Egyptian obelisk and emerges from the processed background in a very directional, organic and textured manner. The colors accentuate the vibration of the whole.

Parfois l'inspiration vient d'elle même et frappe dans un moment où on s'y attend le moins. Ici, le meilleur ami du pain, cette petite plaque de beurre, a su attirer toute mon attention lorsque j'y ai découvert une première ébauche prometteuse. Dans cette composition j'ai renforcé les angles de l'emballage, ce qui donne un effet quasi-géométrique et abstrait à l'ensemble. Le beurre jaune et lisse pointe telle une obélisque égyptienne pas encore terminée et se dégage de l'arrière-plan traité de manière très directionnelle, organique et texturée. Les couleurs accentue la vibration de l'ensemble.
