Trees are an endless source of inspiration for me. They stand up through the seasons like a bridge of life between heaven and earth. We can read their history in certain barks and the shape of their branches their character. Of course we are for them only ephemeral beings, their perception of time being radically different. They know how to defend themselves, communicate, adapt. In this almost impasto acrylic painting, this tree stands at sunset in front of a set of desks. Due to the greed of a few this magnificent specimen with a thousand tentacles and the surrounding century-old park will soon be destroyed.

Les arbres sont pour moi une source d'inspiration infinie. Ils se dressent à travers les saisons comme un pont de vie entre le ciel et la terre. Nous pouvons lire leur histoire dans certaines écorces et la forme de leurs branches leur caractère. Bien sûr nous ne sommes pour eux que des êtres éphémères, leur perception du temps étant radicalement différente. Ils savent se défendre, communiquer, s'adapter. Dans cette peinture acrylique presque impasto, cet arbre se dresse au couchant devant un ensemble de bureaux. Du fait de la cupidité de quelques-uns ce magnifique spécimen aux mille tentacules ainsi que le parc centenaire environnant seront bientôt détruits.
